One Day I Will Mature

After basically two years of unemployment I will begin my new job at CitiGroup on Monday. Valerie will start daycare and it really pisses me off. I need money for myself, but is it really worth letting someone else raise my child? This really sucks. However, the money is pretty freaking decent! I'll be making $12.21 an hour plus commission. So that's at least $1000 a paycheck, which is about $24,000 a year. Obviously that's like welfare, but with Brad's job as well we'll be doing pretty well! Which is freaking awesome. Besides, all the money I make will be mine to spend however I want. Other than daycare... that'll come out of my paycheck. lol.

I think the first thing I'll buy is one of those Amazon book reader things. My god those look sweet. Load all my favorite books on there and just read away. I'm super stoked. Then maybe I'll buy myself a new coach purse and wallet. hehe. Oh, and of course I'll buy Val yet ANOTHER brand new wardrobe. hehe.

And as for Christmas. It's going to be the best one yet. Because I'll actually be able to buy friends and family GOOD presents. I'll probably get Brad that stupid new iTouch he's been talking about. Probably buy my parents the usual: dad - KU memorabilia, mom - awesome puzzle and some snowmen. As for Nick... maybe I'll buy him a gift card to GameStop. And Sheena... maybe I'll buy her a new Coach wallet. hehe. Not too expensive, but something nice for my bestie. Oh, can't forget Sarah and Fran. Sarah... a hoodie from Abercrombie, possibly. And Fran... hmm... this is a toughy. I'll have to think about her. But I'll probably spend half the money on her, then the other half on her daughter.

Okay, I'm all about Christmas fever. I think I'm going to change my layout to get more in the mood now. hehe.
